This book is about Sylvie Ann and her brother Tom entering in the fair Alexander the Gander, some strawberry jam, and Buttercup the calf. Two other books about Sylvie Ann are listed for sale on the rear flap of the dust jacket at $.75 each, which is probably the price that is clipped off this book.
