Camp Travis, a World War I training and mobilization center, was established at San Antonio, Texas in 1917 and consolidated with Fort Sam Houston in 1922. Some 112,000 World War I draftees from Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, and Oklahoma were trained at the camp. The 90th Infantry Div., the 156th Depot Brigade, and the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Training Battalions were some of the units stationed there. Profusely illustrated with company photographs. Company rosters. Hundreds of faces with names that went through the Camp in World War I. 337 pages includes 10 pages of local advertising of sponsors of the yearbook. 9 in. x 12 in.
