A biography of Texas's Clara Driscoll who is credited with saving the Alamo when she bought the neglected property to rescue it from commercial exploitation.. This is a special signed (by the author, Martha Anne Turner) limited edition (125) of which this is number 21. This limited edition, specially bound and slip-cased contains as additional material a short story by Clara Driscoll entitled "The Red Rose of San Jose". 185 pages plus addendum. Quarter bound in brown leather. The boards and slipcase are bound in brown marbled paper. Book was issued without a dust jacket. Slipcase and book are in Fine condition. ; 7 1/4 in. x 10 1/2 in.

Dust jacket has price neatly marked out and slight smudges on back. Dust jacket is in Near Fine condition and book is in Fine condition.
