The bulk of the book, Letters, etc. , to and from Anson Jones covers a little over 21 years of Texas history from March 19, 1836 to December 19, 1857. Foreword to this edition by John Connally. This edition was reproduced from the First Edition of 1859 belonging to the Amon Carter Museum of Western Art in Fort Worth.
