James Nichols soon became a regular Indian fighter...' ' Nichols was a Texas Ranger serving under Jack Hays and Bigfoot Wallace. The book has an interesting account of how the Hays Rangers trained to fight Indians in 1843. The book was designed and printed by Carl Hertzog. Illustrated by Eldridge Hardie. 212 pages, appendix and index. Cloth hardback with dust jacket. Dust jacket has very slight fading. No tears or chipping.
