The author, Commander Scott, was a radio host of the radio broadcast, "Romance of the Highways" in the 1940s. This is a book of motoring around California as it was in the 1940s. This is the first (and only?) of a planned series of books called "ROMANCE OF THE HIGHWAYS SERIES". Signed by the author on the half title page. This is the signed/limited edition. Illustrated. 307 pages plus appendix. No dust jacket. Page 27 has a large piece torn away at the bottom corner (approx. 3 in. x 3 in.) Book is in Very Good condition.
